Greece - Athens to Crete

We sailed from the port of Pireaus to the island of Crete. this is the furthest island in Europe and the border with Africa. The boat ride was uneventful and took us about 9 hours. we arrived in Crete at 6 am, right in time for a sunrise coffee!

some serius boats in the harbor

and a naval museum

this is a Venetian fortress in Crete. took the Turks 25 years to capture this

great sunsets here

This is "Mister" a really great street dog. had it been easier to get him home, he'd be moving to Maine.
